Eros is not trying to communicate so much about what its title says, than the inner ramifications about it. Love is only one word now, but for the ancien greeks, there were two, interesting enough: Sophia, the love that is tempered, and Eros, the passion itself. This song is about back and forth, it’s about wanting Eros, and acting like it, when you’re clearly on Sophia’s time. It’s about having, still, what you cannot have. And the complexity of it all. I like a lot the work of Jérôme on this song, he really achieved the balance I tried to obtain between simple and complex. And I’m glad if you can hear the two, simultaneously.
